Following the Musalia Mudavadi’s decision to join forces with the UDA Party boss William Ruto ahead of the August elections, Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has sneered at the decision.

On 23rd January Mudavadi stomped on his earlier ideals and proclaimed that he would collaborate with his long-time political adversary Ruto, a statement that was dubbed an earthquake.
According to the Kakamega Governor who spoke on Sunday, January 30, it was ludicrous for an older guy such as Musalia to pursue a young man such as Ruto.
His comments were followed by a statement saying that the former Deputy Prime Minister was a disgrace to the Luhya community, which has been attempting to seize control of the country’s government for a long time.
“Every year for the last several hundred years, the Luhya community has been strategizing about how one of us may advance to the highest position, but we always seem to get ourselves into trouble just before election day.” Said the disappointed Governor.
