After a successful Luo festival 2021 edition, the organizer of the event Jalango has announced that luo festival 2022 edition will be taking place in the United States of America.
Through his Instagram account comedian Jalango shared a post written “LUO FESTIVAL AMERICA 🇺🇸 MAY 2022.”
Last year’s luo festival took place at Ngong race course, Nairobi Kenya. The event attracted the attendance of famous Kenyan politicians,among them being the orange democratic movement founder Raila odinga, his arrival at the event sparked controversy after netizens alleged that Jalango had turned the event to a campaign arena for Raila’s presidential bid.
In a previous interview the comedian also revealed that the first luo festival did not go as planned after spending more that a million Kenyan shillings since no body attended the event.
