ODM party leader Raila Odinga’s wife has finally apologized for her earlier remarks about the church.
According to Ida Odinga, she had requested for regulation of churches in Kenya so as to deal with false preachers and churches who swindle money from innocent Christians. Speaking in Kisumu the wife of the former prime Minister also urged clergymen to attend theological schools so as to equip themselves with the right doctrine.
However her statement was not taken lightly by Christians across the country,as they accused Ida of trying to regulate how God’s word is preached which is believed to be against biblical teachings.

After the online uproar, mama Ida Odinga was forced to write a statement and apologized for being misunderstood, saying that she had no ill intentions with Christians and churches. Below is the statement.
